Home work for April 3, 2016

Please check the Telugu Literature page on the blog for extra resources which kids can refer at home. 

NOTE: Refer to the Short Sentences Part 1 & Part 2 links to learn  vocab and sentences. We expect all the kids to write the date on the home work page and all the parents, Please make sure you check their notebook for classwork.

Most of the kids did not learn these words yet, We would like all the kids to watch the you tube video and learn all the vocabulary from the table. We will have a quiz for above words. Try making your own sentences using these words.

Prathamika - Level 1 

Writing/Reading:

Write all the alphabets you have learnt so far. 
Please date your homework and write legibly on a fresh page in your note book.

Kids who already know all the letters (Read the 2 letter words from the text book (pg 117) 

Vocabulary:

Review all the vocabulary letters from - - ఝ (Based on how much they know)

Review colors, body parts, numbers (1-10), weekdays.

Poem:
అల్పుడెపుడు పలుకు
Parents: please work with your kids and teach this poem.

Story: Bonus option for this week. Kids are who are interested in watching videos can watch this story.


Strength in numbers- in Unity (Story of Pigeons and Mice)
Watch this and we will discuss this in class.


Speaking:

Ask kids to note down all the vocabulary words which comes in sentences in their Composition books. - Every week we expect kids to learn few sentences and vocab words from these links. 

Prathamika - Level 2 

Writing:

     Write all the alphabets from అ-అః and క- ఱ ( or till whichever alphabet you have learnt so far)
·   Read the words in the page no: 117-118 of the text book and practice writing.


Vocabulary:

Review Vocabulary words for the letters ట to ణ
Also, Learn list of words from the story with meanings which are provided at the top.

Watch this story on YouTube.
·   We will discuss this in class and learn the meanings for all the vocabulary words.


Speaking:

NOTE : Parents/kids: please learn 10 vocabulary words at least per week either from text book/ from those posted on blog/ YouTube links and note those down in your notebook. 

Madhyama 1 (A - Class with More kids, B - Class with 6 kids

Writing:

Review all the letters especially recognizing and writing randomly. This is for the kids who  are still struggling with the letter recognition.(A &B)
Review and Practice ద ధ న భ, మ guninthalu (A) - After practicing write once without referring to book

Write new vocabulary words learned from the short sentences (A) 

Write few more new vocabulary words of your own with meanings (B), Practice all the formal and informal words learned in class (B)

Form  Small sentences and say it orally using the above words listed in vocabulary section. Or they can write it in English..ex: repu naku selavu,hamsa kolanu lo neeru taguthundhi (B)

Vocabulary:

After viewing at least 10 sentences in you tube (links are in telugu literature page), Learn all the vocabulary words learned in those 10 sentences.  You can write the vocab words in English if the word contains Vottulu or hard to write for you. (A & B)

Madhyama 2 & Utterna

Writing/Reading:

Write all the vocabulary words and/sentences you have learned during practicing the sentences by looking at the You tube videos - Write it in Telugu. 10 sentences. - Madhyama 2 and Uteerna 

Learn the pranasnehithulu(ప్రాణస్నేహితులు) story to present to Madhama 2 class -  Utterna Only

Vocabulary:

Complete the home work from page 22 to 27.   - Madhyama 2
Prepare for quiz of the words from 18 to 27 - Madhyama 2
After viewing at least 10 sentences in you tube (links are in telugu literature page), Learn all the vocabulary words learned in those 10 sentences. Try to use these vocabulary words in different sentences. - Madhyama 2 and Uteerna

Learn meanings for శ్రీరాముని దయ ... and తల్లి నిన్ను దలంచి ..  (Madyama 2)
