Homework for April 17, 2016

Please check the Telugu Literature page on the blog for extra resources which kids can refer at home. 

Please check the Vocabulary page on the home page to check all the vocabulart words learned in stories.

NOTE: Refer to the Short Sentences Part 1 & Part 2 links to learn  vocab and sentences. We expect all the kids to write the date on the home work page and all the parents, Please make sure you check their notebook for classwork.

Prathamika - Level 1 

Writing/Reading:

Write all the alphabets you have learnt so far. 

Please date your homework and write legibly on a fresh page in your note book.

Kids who already know all the letters (Read the 2 letter words from the text book (pg 117) 

Vocabulary:

Review all the vocabulary letters from -అ - ఝ (Based on how much they know)

Review colors, body parts, numbers (1-10), weekdays.

Poem:

Story: 

తెలివిగల కొంగ టక్కరి నక్క

Watch this story and learn all the vocabulary words. Kids needs to say few sentences from the story.

Speaking:

Please refer to the Short sentences Part 1 link from Telugu Literature Page to listen and learn simple telugu sentences. Ask kids to note down all the vocabulary words which comes in sentences in their Composition books. - Every week we expect kids to learn few sentences and vocab words from these links. 

Prathamika - Level 2 

Writing:

     Write all the alphabets from అ- ఱ ( or till whichever alphabet you have learnt so far)
Those who know all the Alphabets, Write 2 alphabet words without Vottulu and Guninthalu (ex- కల,జడ)
Refer to page no: 117-118 of the text book and write at least 10 words in your note book.( Parents please dictate to your child)

     Review Vocabulary words for the letters త -న

Refer to the words posted on the blog. (Please click on the vocabulary words tab on the main page)
Form your own sentences with 3 words of your choice. We will discuss them in class.

Panchatantra Tales in Telugu - The Wise Old Bird

    Watch this story on YouTube.

    Try to learn 2-3 sentences in Telugu and narrate the story. Write  what you understood in your own words(English) in your notebook.( 4-5 sentences)

Writing/Reading:

Review all the letters especially recognizing and writing randomly. This is for the kids who  are still struggling with the letter recognition.

Review and Practice ప, ఫ ష, స guninthalu After practicing write ఫ , స once without referring to book . Underline the difference from standard gunintham.

Understanding difference between శ ష స and knowing when to use what and write 5 words words using these letters - 

Check the note books for what we did it in class.

Write new vocabulary words learned from the short sentences

Read and Review following table to learn past, present, future tense for telugu words. There will be a test to write Present.Past, future for a given word
