"మన మాతృభాష మరచి పోకుండా, పిల్లలు కనీసం ఇళ్లలో తెలుగు మాట్లాడగలిగితే చాలు" అన్న చిన్న కోరికతో నావంతు సహయాం చేయాలనిపించి తెలుగు బడి లో వాలంటీర్ గా చేరా. కానీ, ఆ పిల్లల నుంచి నేను కూడా ఎంతో నేర్చుకోవచ్చని బడికి పోయాక తెలిసివొచ్చింది

Mother tongue is far
more than a means of communication. I always believe our values, beliefs
and identity are embedded within it. Telugubadi is an apt channel to pass them
to next generations. I am impressed by the team effort in cypress and happy to
be part of it.

This one line stuck in
my mind for a long time and turned into a passion to teach (as a volunteer) our
younger kids so that they all can speak Telugu fluently with their parents and
