Homework for April 24, 2016

Please check the Vocabulary page on the home page to check all the vocabulary words learned in stories.

NOTE: Refer to the Short Sentences Part 1 & Part 2 links to learn  vocab and sentences. We expect all the kids to write the date on the home work page and all the parents, Please make sure you check their notebook for classwork.

Prathamika - Level 1 

Writing/Reading:

Write all the alphabets you have learnt so far. 

Kids who already know all the letters (Read the 2 letter words from the text book (pg 117) 

Vocabulary:

Review all the vocabulary letters for - ఇ,ఈ (Based on how much they know)

Review colors, body parts, numbers (1-20), weekdays.

తెలివిగల కొంగ టక్కరి నక్క

Watch this story and learn all the vocabulary words. Kids needs to say few sentences from the story. We will be discussing the story again in the class.

Speaking:

Learn 2 new telugu sentences (it can be very simple, which they use on daily basis)

Ask kids to note down all the vocabulary words which comes in sentences in their Composition books. - Every week we expect kids to learn few sentences and vocab words from these links. 

Prathamika -  Level 2 

Writing/Reading:

Learn and practice all the alphabets from అ- ఱ ( or till whichever alphabet you have learnt so far)

Those who know all the Alphabets, Write 2 alphabet words without Vottulu and Guninthalu (ex- కల,జడ)

Refer to page no: 117-118 of the text book and write at least 10 words in your note book.( Parents please dictate to your child) 

Please try to differentiate the sounds -త-ట,  ద-డ,

Vocabulary:

Learn the Vocabulary words from ప-మ

Start reviewing vocabulary words for each alphabet and for weekdays, colors, numbers, animals, body parts, fruits, vegetables.

We discussed some in last class. We will continue to review all the words in the next couple of classes we have before the final exam.

Refer to the words posted on the blog. (Please click on the vocabulary words tab on the main page)

Form your own sentences with 3 words of your choice. We will discuss them in class.

Try to learn 2-3 sentences in Telugu and narrate the story. Write  what you understood in your own words(English) in your notebook.( 4-5 sentences)

Review and Practice హ gunintham. After practicing write హ once without referring to book . Underline the difference from standard gunintham.

Review and practice  how to form the gunintham by combining Hallu (Consonant) with primary / secondary form of  Achu (vowel) - Refer to page 10 - Primary and Secondary forms of Vowels. 

Please do the home work by completing 2 pages a day from the text book for following page numbers. Few of them already completed first few pages. 
Pg No - 21,27 30,36 38,43  53,55  63,70  73,75  79,80  81,81 ( Let the kids complete as much as possible). It is not mandatory that they need to finish everything.

Write 5 Sentences using 5 words from those pages (18-27) (MADYAMA 2)

Read the story "Chandra" and learn all the words with meanings. (UTEERNA)

Complete all the worksheets for "Chandrudu" story. (UTEERNA)

Write all the vocabulary words and/sentences you have learned during practicing the sentences by looking at the You tube videos - Write it in Telugu. 10 sentences. - Madhyama 2 and Uteerna
