Homework for Oct 18, 2015

Prathamika 

• Practice and trace Letters అ to అః
• Last year Prathamika Students - Write all the letters you know - 2 times and trace/practice once you have trouble with.
• Learn the vocabulary words from the book from అ to ఐ - Use the text book for this. 
• Learn/Practice  colors and weekdays 
• Learn పావురాలు-వేటగాడు కథ - Watch the video and narrate the few sentences from the story in next class.

Madhyama 1

• Write guninthalu for following letters (please make them understand that guninthalu for letters Talakattu touching the base will be almost same. 
• ఛ, ఝ  
• ఠ,డ (DA),ఢ (DDA) - Optional (Bonus)
• Practice the first 2 lines of prayer తల్లి నిన్ను దలంచి  - This can be found in Last year Prathamika book. - Everybody should know the first 2 lines by next class. 
• Review the simple words in Page 14. - This page has words with first 2 forms of guninthalu for most of the consonants. -  Optional (Bonus)  
• Review numbers from 1 to 100 - there will be a quiz on this. - All the kids learned the numbers 1 - 100 in Prathamika class. But when we reviewed in class, couple of them had trouble saying the numbers in Telugu.
• Read/Listen the story తాబేలు కుందేలు - Page 124 and learn all the vocabulary words.  - We will be going over this story for at least 3 weeks until all the kids understand the story and also say few sentences in Telugu.

Madhyama 2

• Write words using following vottulu 
• ట ఠ,డ,ఢ, ణ
• Read the story on Page 77 (సింహము - ఎలుక ) - Every body should be able to read the story in class and should know all the vocabulary words.

Utterna

• Practice అమ్మల గన్న యమ్మ  Prayer from Utterna book with meaning.
• Review Vishnu Mahima Story (Akbar-Birbal) - page -18 - can extend the story with your idea.
• Write 10 sentences for య ottu on FLASH cards
